event Production
Where concept becomes experience—and every detail tells a story.
Before I designed spaces, I was designing worlds. Immersive, atmospheric events that didn’t just look stunning—they made people feel something. Event design and creative production is where The Levibe first took shape. It’s about creating experiences that leave a mark.
My journey began in London, where I started my career in film and television production, learning to run sets, manage visions, and bring complex ideas to life. That foundation led me to the iconic Pest Control team—Banksy’s in-house production company—where I worked on some of his most ambitious projects, including Dismaland, his surreal, anti-theme park.
I brought that same creative energy to Los Angeles, joining the founding team behind the Bombay Beach Biennale, a festival that fuses art, architecture, and imagination. I also worked on Cirque Gitane, a nomadic luxury hotel experience, in the desert collaborating with the team behind Petit Ermitage. In both, I had the privilege of translating high-concept ideas into unforgettable, emotional experiences…
Dismaland
Weston-super-Mare, UK
Commissioned by Banksy, Dismaland was a dystopian art installation disguised as a twisted theme park—part social commentary, part theatrical production, and entirely unlike anything the art world had seen before. Built inside a derelict seaside lido, it featured darkly satirical sculptures, immersive installations, and performances by over 50 artists from around the globe.
I worked within Banksy’s in-house production team, Pest Control, bringing his surreal vision to life—sourcing rare vintage structures, managing logistics, and overseeing the execution of one of the most subversive creative projects of the decade. Dismaland wasn’t just an exhibition—it was a full-scale experience designed to challenge, provoke, and mesmerize.

Bombay Beach Biennale
Salton Sea, California
Set on the cracked shoreline of the Salton Sea, The Bombay Beach Biennale is an annual festival of art, architecture, and performance—equal parts surrealist playground and cultural happening. Built within the ruins of a once-glamorous desert town, the event reimagines abandoned spaces as canvases for large-scale installations, immersive experiences, and experimental performances.
As part of the founding creative team, I helped shape the event’s earliest editions—turning derelict buildings into experiential art spaces and forgotten lots into moments of magic. From sourcing burnt-out vehicles for a drive-in theatre to curating art installations within abandoned buildings, every detail was rooted in raw vision, resourcefulness, and community.

Bombay Beach Drive Inn
One of the first projects I worked on in Bombay Beach was the creation of the Bombay Beach Drive-In—a permanent installation made from old cars and boats sourced from residents around the town. What began as a playful, post-apocalyptic take on the classic American drive-in quickly became a beloved fixture of the community.
Each vehicle was hand-picked and arranged to create an immersive, open-air cinema space. More than just an installation, it was a shared effort and a lasting gift to the locals—a space that continues to bring people together long after the Biennale crowds have gone home
Bombay Beach Opera House
Conceived by artist James Ostrer, the Bombay Beach Opera House began as a dilapidated trailer home and was transformed into a surreal performance venue—its façade adorned with thousands of flip-flops collected from the beaches of Lagos, Nigeria. As part of the creative team during the early years of the Bombay Beach Biennale, I played a pivotal role in actualizing Ostrer's vision. My contributions ranged from sourcing materials and collaborating with artists to assisting in the build-out. One memorable moment involved climbing onto the roof to paint it sky-blue, ensuring the structure blended seamlessly with the desert horizon, as Ostrer envisioned. The result was a captivating space that hosted ballet, opera, and avant-garde performances on the edge of the Salton Sea.

Greg Haberny
At the edge of the Salton Sea, art finds new life in decay. The Foundation—created by New York-based artist Greg Haberny—is a permanent gallery built within a crumbling home in Bombay Beach. Raw, immersive, and ever-evolving, it blurs the line between installation and architecture. I worked closely with Haberny to help manifest the space—sourcing materials, assisting with the build, and shaping an environment that feels both chaotic and deeply intentional.
Raise the Moral
Artist Moral Turgeman brought wit, intimacy, and sensory exploration to the Bombay Beach Biennale through a series of memorable installations. From Museum No. 2—a playful critique of selfie-driven art spaces—to Haus Der Sinne, a multi-room experience designed to awaken the senses, her work blended satire with soul. I had the pleasure of supporting her vision across three unique projects that remain part of the town’s evolving creative landscape.

The Ski Inn, Ernie & Sonia
No story about my time in Bombay Beach would be complete without honoring Ernie and Sonia, the beloved owners of The Ski Inn—the town’s only bar ( also known to many as the best bar in California ) is the beating heart of the Bombay Beach community. In the earliest days of building the Biennale, I was one of the first boots on the ground, and before any creative work could begin, we had to earn the trust of the Locals. Ernie and Sonia welcomed us with warmth, generosity, friendship and unwavering support.
The late Ernie, was one of the kindest and hardest-working people I’ve ever met. Together with Sonia, they made the impossible feel possible—not just by opening their doors, but by offering real connection. Their kindness became a cornerstone of the work we built in Bombay Beach. They weren’t just part of the town—they were the heart and soul.
Cirque Gitane
Nomadic Luxury Hotel Experience
Cirque Gitane was a traveling luxury hotel experience like no other—an 18th-century Napoleonic fantasy brought to life across a hidden desert landscape. Designed for 150 guests, this immersive, multi-day event blended theatrical storytelling, historical romance, and high-end hospitality under a canopy of curated decadence.
Created by the team behind Petit Ermitage, the experience was a moving dreamscape, from the grand lobby built from vintage elephant tents to the intricately styled private dwellings. I worked across the full arc of this project for two years, bringing the concept to life through hands-on production, set design, and event styling.
