Commercial DESIGN

The Kodak Building

Los Angeles, CA

What was once a forgotten space in an iconic building is now a bold expression of atmosphere, intention, and identity. This project was more than a renovation—it was a reawakening.

Set within the walls of the historic Eastman Kodak campus, this commercial space was reimagined as a fully functioning office building—designed to inspire creativity, foster connection, and honor the spirit of reinvention that defines Los Angeles. From custom fixtures and curated vintage pieces to mood-rich color palettes and layered materials, every element was chosen to tell a story—one of transformation, artistry, and quiet glamour.

Los Angeles often overlooks its own history. While cities like San Francisco are celebrated for their architectural continuity, LA’s landmarks are too often replaced by modern structures. When the chance to work on the Kodak Building arose, I said yes without hesitation. It was an opportunity to preserve a piece of Hollywood’s soul and show that true beauty lies in restoration.

This is commercial design with soul. This is The Levibe.

When designing these rooms, I wanted my client, Mickey Curbishly, President of Solotech, to feel transported in time the moment he stepped into his office—back to an era where he could have been hosting the likes of Bette Davis, martini in hand, as they conducted business
